I recently picked up another killer clearance item from Avon: the Weekend Lover Tee – a great split sleeve with sparkly lettering to properly show my love for the weekends!

It’s a super cute tee – the split sleeves are a huge win and the lettering is adorable though LOVER is difficult to read from a distance since it’s pink on pink. The color is light enough to work for any skin tone. Comfy material – a bit on the thin side but not ridiculous…I’m not a huge fan of the paper thin tees that are all the rage right now. I wish it were a tad bit longer to hide all of my mama belly and I’m worried about it shrinking when I wash it, but as long as I don’t raise my arms, it’s good. I can always hide my tummy (which is only obviously visible from the side view when wearing black pants) with a cardi…one of my favorite tricks of the trade!

First day of the year and I: (1) showered; and (2) left the house – already winning! Since I worked all day New Year’s Eve, we didn’t go out to celebrate the new year…so, I wore shiny, sparkly things to make up for it New year’s Day! These pieces are pretty as a princess! Pink, sparkly and classic – you can’t go wrong!

Friday was Day 2 of meetings with recruiters and interviews for my job search, which called for Avon’s Instant Glamour Cluster Earrings!

These earrings pack a big fat wallop of wow! The style harkens back to the super glam decades of years past – totally my bag! Note: These aren’t heavy per se, but they do tip forward when wearing. I had earring back supports on my Amazon wish list, which were gifted to me for Christmas, and they are AMAZING! Get yourself a set so you no longer have droopy earrings – problem solved!!
