Hopelessly Heather

The ramblings and obsessions of a longtime Avon lady

prod_1201145_xl_2It’s Favorites Friday!!

I started using Avon’s Anew Hydra Fusion Nighttime Facial Treatment as a demo before it was released for sale to the general public.  With the fall weather (now fully into winter), my face needed a little more moisturizing than it usually does in warmer temps, particularly the skin on the tip and around my nose.

I previously touted my affection for the Anew Hydra-Fusion In-Shower Mask, so I already had a good baseline experience with this skin care line and felt relatively comfortable with applying it with the assumption that my face wouldn’t have a negative reaction.  I was right.

The clean and fresh scent is similar to the in-shower mask, a light raspberry.  There are little shea butter beads in addition to the raspberry antioxidant and hyaluronic acid in the gel formula, all of which work on my skin while I sleep to repair it and plump it up – and I have to agree that it works!  My skin absolutely looks younger and healthier every morning.

In addition, I’ve never experienced a breakout and my oiliness hasn’t increased.  Both things that are common problems with night creams.  Win-win-win!

  1. I love the Anew products! My go to face cream is the Anew Reversalist Complete Renewal Night Cream. I mean like wow, I love this cream especially since my skin is bipolar and will sometimes be dry and then it decides it going to oil up, ugh. But this night cream is a dream for me.

Awesome! How long have you been using it? I’ve never tried that one, but feel like I’ve found the right thing for my current skin. 🙂

Hopefully it works for you long term! It seems like by the time I find my holy grail products, my skin changes shortly thereafter and I start the search all over again.

          1. Well thus far it has. Like you my skin is ever changing and usually I have to find something new. But this night cream seems to be doing the trick.

It’s great that Hydra Fusion treatment worked. I’m always so nervous using new moisturizers fearing that it will add more oil to my already oily skin.

I hear you! I almost always have an initial negative reaction to a new skin care product, but I’ve been delighted with this line!

  3. What does Avon do for excima? I know I spelled it wrong, hopefully you get what I’m trying to ask.

Eczema. 🙂 We have a line for helping with it: Moisture Therapy. For severe eczema, the derma line is best (the hubs uses it). The moisture therapy line doesn’t contain any added fragrances or artificial coloring, which also helps with other skin issues.
