Sunday I hit the casino with my mom and son hoping for some luck in the tree charm from Avon’s Daily Charm Necklace Set – the luck didn’t come, but it was still a fun day!

The charms are all much more substantial than I anticipated – such a great deal…and they are all pretty!!

Date night dinner with the hubs at our fave local Italian joint called for Avon’s Tweed Crossbody Bag (which can double as a large clutch) – a little something I picked up on clearance from last fall’s Fall for Paris collection!

This bag is much larger than I thought it would be…and holds a lot less than it looks like it would. LOL

I need to add a few smaller purses to my collection for when the hubs takes me out for date night so that my usual giant diaper bag sized tote doesn’t ruin my overall outfit. I thought this bag would fit the bill – but it isn’t dainty. What it is: (1) pretty; (2) sophisticated; (3) neutral; (4) classy; and, (5) classic – ALL WINS!

Tuesday I grabbed dinner with a friend and rocked a casual vibe in Avon’s Pink Hope Rose Quartz Long Necklace!

I’m always a fan of the quality pieces Avon produces in support of the fight against breast cancer and this one was right in line with my expectations! The two charms can be separated to create different looks or kept together to make its powerful visual statement.

After I delivered a couple Avon orders on Thursday, I picked up Melissa so we could go meet Susan’s kittens! I marked the occasion in Avon’s Yasmin Flutter Sleeve Top and Dusted in Glamour Silvertone Drop Earrings!

The top is almost perfect – if only it didn’t have an elastic hemline!  I’ve griped about my mama tummy tons, but tops like these really draw attention to it because putting the hem below my belly makes the top too taut and putting in the middle of my belly shows off how non-flat that area is.  Aside from that, the flutter sleeves are beautiful, the polka dots are always a fave pattern of mine and the material is lightweight without being sheer – perfect for summer!

The earrings are a huge win!  They are delicate and substantial – who knew earrings could be both?!  A note of caution: these things make a lot of tinkling noise while wearing and would probably be obnoxious if you have a phone against your ear, but since I was loving on kittens, I had no issues!
