  2. Thank you for posting Sunday – a photo of Chicago’s skyline always makes me feel better. I actually lived near there for years.

Rainy day… if I can stay in and read/write, I love it. If I have to go out, I dislike it.
Lost luggage? If it’s lost while I’m going somewhere, I am furious (thankfully, never happened to me). If I’m coming home, I just hope it turns up (happened before).
Tangled Christmas lights are actually quite calming to me. It’s like a coloring book for adults – draws you in and absorbs all your thoughts.

      Did you enjoy living there?

Rainy days don’t bug me at all—we get tons here. Lost luggage irks me (had it happen both at home, and away), but as long as it is eventually found and returned (always has been within 24 hours—so far), I can deal with it. I have a prelit tree, so there is no dealing with tangled lights! 🤣

      1. I absolutely loved it. Close to the beach. Great public transportation, close to everything, great/fancy neighborhood etc.

Many people depend on a pre-lit three and I think they are genius. I can untangle the lights all year long, but actually affixing them to the tree is what gets on my nerves. Nope. Won’t do it.

          Ever considered moving back?

Yup, stringing the lights on the tree is the yime consuming part I hated most too.

          1. Not yet. I’m still enjoying the lack of freezing cold 6+ months of the year.

Thank you for all of these. They all are so true. Sunday hits home. Move on, let go and leave it with God, I was say. To me every day is a page in a life. I just Had a good cry about something and while opening my mail I received a St. Jude medallion in the mail. Saint of lost causes and desperate cases. I stopped Crying. I will Deal with what i was crying about, find a solution, and keep moving forward. Wishing you a happy healthy 2021. Xo

Sometimes we still need to grieve the smaller losses and disappointments. I hope things fall in place soon!

Friday’s quote is my favorite. I handle tangled lights just like everyone else: Fiddle with them for forty five minutes and then into the trash with them!
