My date night palette included Avon’s Rose Goldtone Drop Earrings & True Color Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Quad in Warm Sunrise! First things first, I apologize for the less than stellar focus of the photos–it was dusk outside and I was pressed for time, so I didn’t pull out my ring light first…and the quality of the photos suffered as a result. ::whomp, whomp:: Y’all might recall that I’m not the biggest fan of rose gold, but these just called out to me and I had to have them–I’m so glad I got them! They are beauties! The stones in stud and drop portions are rose gold in hue, with clear connecting stoned between the two pieces and encircling the two larger stones. The end result is ultra feminine and luxe! They are light enough weight-wise that I didn’t even need to call my magic earring backers onto the field! The eyeshadow palette was a new one for me, and I was a little disappointed that the shades didn’t remain true on my skin–they all turned pinkish. However, I wasn’t super angry about it since it still looked good, and I got compliments from a random lady while we were leaving the restaurant after dinner. Also, I’m still a big fan of the quads–it really takes the guessing game out of which shades work well together and where each shade should be applied. I’m all for any time-saving strategies I can employ while primping!
Purple promises in Avon’s Pretty Purple Layered Pendant Necklace & Earring Set! First things first, I am partial to this egg-shape for pendants and earrings–I think they are supremely flattering, so I wasn’t about to pass up this set straight outta the gate, but I also paid very little attention to the details until I actually received the set and broke it out of its box. I love the multicolored, yet chromatic, stones!!! I think they bring a really fun, pretty, and sophisticated look to an otherwise classic design. I ‘m a big fan of how the chain feeds through two holes at the top of the necklace’s pendant, so it isn’t unbalanced and randomly flip over throughout the day. The pendant and earrings are the same size, which was a bit surprising, but I’m not mad about it. A great set!
Everything’s coming up roses…in Avon’s Sterling Silver Rose Quartz Flower Necklace and Earrings! Because actual rose quartz was used to create these pieces, the depth and hue of pink varies from piece to piece. I love the CZ stone in the center of each flower–it provides just enough contrast that the flowers don’t end up blending into the skin, and they give off a little sparkle, which never hurts. Like all of Avon’s silver pieces, they are dainty, though the use of quartz does make them a bit chunky compared to other pieces. Very feminine and appropriate for spring!!
Getting naked…in Avon’s True Color Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Quad in Naked Truth! Guys, I have finally found my everyday eyeshadow quad!! The subtle palette is appropriate for work, going casual, and dressing up! After wearing this for the first time last weekend, I’ve used this palette nearly every day since, which is saying something, considering I often skip eyeshadow altogether because I usually find it too time consuming and fussy to apply, not to mention looking a bit too extra for work purposes. These shades blend beautifully together, so even when I screw up, it’s not as obvious or detrimental as when I’m using other pigmented shades. Who knew that it would require going naked to find my perfect match?
Blue sky reflections…on Avon’s Beautifully Blue Necklace and Earrings (no longer available)! Let’s address the elephant in the room first: the blazingly bright blue of these pieces! ::insert lots of heart eye emojis here:: If you can even look past the stunning hue (trust me, this is very difficult), you’ll see that these have a similar traditional design as many of the other pieces I’ve been loving lately with a large center stone surrounded by clear stones in a classic royal-looking setting. A few tiny things in the not-so-great column: (1) the backs of the pendants on the necklace and earrings are slightly rounded, which isn’t an issue with the earrings, and ended up not being an issue with the necklace–it laid against my chest just fine; (2) the pieces are on the heavy side; and (3) the clear stone “sleeve” on the earring posts tip forward (look at the photo with my full face to see what I mean), which is likely due to the previous issue of their weight, and drove me crazy all day long when I couldn’t correct the issue to get the sleeves to orient properly. It would have been a better option to skip the sleeve altogether, even though I love the design…in the box.
Those are all of the past two weeks’ selfies! What was your favorite and how would you have worn it?!

I love all of these, but I’m an Avon jewelry freak so, you knew I would right? Lol. I’m not a rose gold fan either, but those are really cute. The blue set really caught my eye, but my fave has to be the sterling silver rose quartz set 😃😎.

I really thought you’d pick the blue set, so I was off by a little. 😉
