  2. Hi Heather, Tuesday’s quote speaks to me the most today. It makes me think of the surprising dreams/goals that appear out of nowhere after having completed long-term goals. I’ve completed some long-term goals thinking this is the end of this topic only to find more long-term goals as a continuation of that topic bringing me back to the halfway point of a journey. Did I understand Friday’s QOTD correctly, does it means the hawk is leading? What were your thoughts on that quote? ~Andrea

I think it’s about perspective and interpretation—the hawk believes it’s leading the sparrow, and the sparrow belueves it’s chasing the hawk.

      1. I see. I was on the right direction w/ the interpretation.

Usual—and I’ve been sick for the last week and a half with some sinus/head cold nonsense the hubs gifted me with. How ‘bout you?

          1. Ugh! I hope you feel better soon. Being sick in the dead of summer is no fun. (Well, being sick any time of year is no fun, but you know what I mean!)

Right?! I think it’s worse in the summer because that’s when all the “fun” stuff is usually planned for, not everyone is in the same boat (seems everyone in my physical circle all gets sick at the same time in the winter), and it’s nice outside (who wants to be stuck in bed?).

Is the new gig going yet? If so, how goes it?

          1. Hah. Umm… it’s going but very minimally for now. I can’t wait to be fully in. It’s some interesting work and I want to just leave the past in the past.

Still?! How much longer are you going to have to split your focus/time on both things?

              1. I know. It’s absolutely ridiculous! And my new tasks just keep on piling up… Not the most ideal start. Eh… Probably another few weeks. Recruiting’s been terrible.
