I love Tuesday’s. It feels inspirational and aspirational.

I’m not happy about much lately. I hope things improve for us both soon!

  4. Monday – I definitely think this applies. Resentment and the notion of giving up something good for something subpar can definitely go hand in hand.
Tuesday – Hmmm flew over my head like a shooting star. Does that count?
Wednesday – *nods* On my way back home from work I heard a reminder that it’s ‘yes’ that changes our lives, not ‘what if.’ This kind of reminds me of that.
    Thursday – Heck yea!
    Friday – Truth.
Saturday – I really relate to that. I often looked forward to the Holidays to recharge from work, but then would end up being resentful because there was all this ‘work’ to be done at home in preparation for the Holidays to a point where I would opt to celebrate at a minimum. Definitely not ideal. Same with weekends – people use it to recharge but there’s also house work/chores so… when do we really get to rest? That’s why I am so big on away vacation. Staycations are a scam (at least for me as I always end up feeling guilty for not being as productive as I could be.)
    Sunday – Mhm

Resentment definitely plays a part in my burnout, but it doesn’t make up the entirety.

      Re Wednesday: I like that!

Re Saturday: Even away vacations take work to some degree. I definitely think I am hardwired to always have a to-do list at the ready, and feel guilty when I’ve failed to make progress on it.
