Great batch my friend, but I’m with Jay Leno on Fridays QOTD. It’s hard to find either in DC these days 😝😆🤣🤪

It’s funny because it’s true! Sunday is my pick this week!

Saturday stings because it’s true 😅

You are not alone, though I understand it’s much more of a struggle for you to deal with. Sending you love!

I liked Monday… but that’s because I think Christmas sweaters are great. They can be the ugliest, most garish monstrosities but you can just shrug your shoulders, roll your eyes and say, “Christmas sweaters… am I right?”

I have TWO storage bins—one for Christmas, one for other occasions/holidays. 🤣🤣🤣

Monday – seriously!
Tuesday – ROFL
Wednesday – Hilarious.
Thursday – That’s why I kind of like the minimalist gift approach. Sometimes no gift is better than a gift you’re not happy with.
Friday – Love it!
Saturday – Eh… so true. For me, Thanksgiving does nothing. But Christmas… it’s because I’ve always celebrated it for multiple days and Thanksgiving is just one day.
Sunday – I used to laugh at that and here I am, doing the same thing…

Re Thursday: Giving gifts is my love language (and I’m an excellent gift giver). When I’m told not to give a gift to someone I care about, it feels like they don’t want to receive my love.
Re Sunday: If only I could contain all my gift bags in another gift bag! 🤣🤣🤣

Interesting perspective. I imagine those who say they don’t want gifts say so because they don’t want to be a burden/hassle, or simply because they know they’re not gonna get what they want (or maybe they don’t even know what they want). But if the giver is an excellent gift giver as you say you are, then I think things would be different. Aside from Christmas gifts, this is something I struggle with – I don’t do well with people gifting me things out of the blue. Makes me feel uncomfortable, but I’ve been told that me not accepting those gifts can feel as rejection towards them. A complex issue.
