Friday. I attended several karate classes in my life and started each one with a white belt… at the beginning. Eventually, I had to be assistant instructor for about a year, while the teacher was in Afghanistan. Really made me solid on the fundamentals.

I absolutely love the idea of destroying who you are so you can rebuild someone stronger! Thank you for sharing.

Monday – no…
Tuesday – good advice. Now, if only we didn’t feel too tired/sad/etc. to actually do that.
Wednesday – Hmmm… interesting.
Friday – love that one!
Saturday – beautiful sentiment, not easy to live with, though
Sunday – put a smile on my face.
What are you working on destroying today?

A friend of mine said: “I can’t remember the source but there’s a lot of truth in ‘self improvement is the biggest form of self harm.’” Makes you think.

Hmmm… I think it’s a very powerful tool. However, you do have to be very careful when using it.

I tend to tear down a bunch of things in my life at once in order to make a major change—it gives me a new foundation to work from. I’m not actively destroying anything—rather, I’m actively trying to repair things, while mentally preparing myself for potentially needing to make major changes this year.
