  1. I love Monday’s QOTD, because it just slapped me in the face with the truth.

Wednesday… but substitute “sunrise”. One of the great joys of getting up early.

I find no joys in getting up early. 🤣

      1. I’m right there with you! However, I have to say that throughout lent I would wake up earlier (7am) and spent the first hour of the day on reading the Bible and just taking it easy. I have to say that it allowed me to center myself for the day (instead of getting up and going straight to work-mode). I’ve been doing it on and off since lent ended, depending on what I feel my body needs. Never thought I would hear myself say that I enjoy the early wake-up (well, not the getting out of bed part, but the following moments).

Oh, I agree that when I get up early, I’m often super productive, which is a huge positive…but I’d still much rather sleep! 🤣

I like the last one. It’s true – the things I thought would be big, important moments have long faded, and things that were nothings at the time are burned into my heart.

It’s interesting how that seems to work out, though some of the big things definitely were big things (e.g., deaths, marriages, births, rites of passage, etc.).

  4. I think Sunday’s message is spot-on and nostalgic. The photo for Tuesday just captivated me. What an amazing spot for a sit-down.
