I love Sunday. I find I tend to fill up too much of my time with things that aren’t really that important to me.

Sunday is my pick too—I love Rumi.
I wish I could fill up my time only with things that are important to me, but that’s not how life works. There are lyrics in “Moments in the Woods” that go:
“Oh, if life were made of moments
Even now and then a bad one!
But if life were only moments
Then you’d never know you had one.” How true—and probably why our lives are filled with unimportant minutiae that is punctuated with events of importance that we call memories.

I love that. How true. We only appreciate them because they’re different from the norm.
I just bought a book of Rumi writings from a used book store. I’m looking forward to reading it.

I’m not the best at reviews. The goals for them is short and sweet, and I tend to get long and involved lol

Who said what the goal is? It’s YOUR blog…so, YOUR rules!

Monday – very wise.
Tuesday – nice sentiment, but it doesn’t work like that for me. I think I’m a bear. Hibernation is my default mode in winter.
Wednesday – hmmmm thought-provoking
Thursday – agreed. February is such a weird month for a few reasons
Friday – hopefully. so far so good. Any major V-Day plans?
Saturday – definitely short. Well, for some, anyway. I’ve known people who claimed it was too long. Sweet? Not sure about that.
Sunday – 🙂 I like it.

No V-Day plans…as usual, the hubs will be out of state on the actual day. We’ll likely grab dinner and exchange cards/gifts the weekend after. You?

V-Day is also Ash Wednesday, so we’ve actually started yesterday with a small gift exchange. We’ll do some activity this or next weekend probably, too.

He’s my favorite existentialist. Way better than Sartre or Kierkegaard…

Wow—I can’t say I have a favorite existentialist.
