Each Monday I gather up the daily QOTD (Quote of the Day) posts I made for the week that are usually inspirational, motivational or just plain funny. Unfortunately, my mom unexpectedly and suddenly passed away on May 4, 2024, so I’m stuck on grief for the time being. Those of you who have lost your mothers know. Sending you all my love…
Monday’s QOTD:
Tuesday’s QOTD:
Wednesday’s QOTD:
Thursday’s QOTD:
Friday’s QOTD:
Saturday’s QOTD:
Sunday’s QOTD:

Which one was your favorite this week and why? Got one to share? Drop a comment below!

Friday… But, I don’t plan on even leaving a hole behind…

Plan all you want—you won’t get to control that.

They do. As I age, I suspect grief will become a more common companion, which makes me sad thinking about it.
I just realized (too late) that I’d pulled the same quote images as last week’s post—clearly I didn’t delete them after posting them the first time. D’oh! #GriefBrain

I like Sunday and Monday. They go together nicely. They remind me that grief is the gateway to a new world.

I noticed a couple, but I thought they had just really resonated with you and so you wanted to share them again.

Thank you for a chuckle (not from the quotes themselves, but from the comment section). I was reading through this post and thinking to myself I read those! and then scrolling through the comments and not seeing my avatar. Hmmm… and then I see you repeated those. Too funny. (But then I don’t see it under the previous week’s post, either, so maybe I just got distracted?)
All great quotes, but I think the realization that there’s no grief without love is a powerful one.
