Looks like my old football coach yelling at me…

      Good or bad memories?

I identified most with Saturday this week.

  2. All of these are good, but I’m going to go with Tuesday’s QOTD 🙂

  3. And I like Friday. We have a wide variety this week 🙂
Dedication is something that I am good at, and come back to whenever I need to buckle down and focus.

Yup, dedication is something I’m good at too—we’re two peas!

      1. I’ve missed interacting with you lately. I’ve been wrapped up in my own (outside) world but you seem to be a little “off.” Everything OK? The usual?

I’ve been slammed at work, and just plain worn out. I keep meaning to catch up on reading the bloggers I follow, and managed to read a handful of posts in my Reader last week-ish, but other things have taken priority lately. Exhaustion, COVID fatigue, overburdened/overworked, and (likely) a dash of depression (possibly seasonal, and certainly situational, like everyone else who’s been on lockdown for a year now) to keep it all interesting. I am usually pretty full of energy and can rally myself and others fairly well, but I’m currently lacking the motivation. Just generally feeling meh.

How’s things with you? Are places starting to open up?

          1. That’s the feeling I got by not seeing your bubbly personality as much. Any plans to take some time off? Even if for a stay-cation?

Things with me? There’s always something going on that’s not necessarily good or easy, but such is life. However, my current mental state is rather pleasant, so I can’t complain. I march on!

Over here, I didn’t really notice closures as much. People roam around freely for the most part. But, they are rescheuling various festivals that would occur this time of year, and I think they might end up being cancelled altogether.

Not in the short term—have been accruing my PTO just in case our tentatively scheduled three-week vacay to Paris/Rome happens in a few months. Gritted teeth and white knuckles are the norm lately.

I’m thrilled to hear that you are in a good mental place!!

How lucky for you guys—we’re just starting to have some limited openings around here…I hope the trend continues!

              1. Well, at least you have something to look forward to! But I can imagine how there’s anxiety association with all of the unknown about travel, etc.

Currently, the borders are not open…I’m more concerned about having to reschedule the whole trip.

Yeah, there’s a website we check that tells you who is allowed to fly in/out of any country. Europe is still locked down.
