It’s Favorites Friday!!
Let’s finally address the elephant in the room! Anyone who follows me at all knows my absolute number one favorite thing about Avon is the jewelry. One could even say I have a slight “problem” though I would argue back that some people buy themselves a coffee to treat themselves and I buy Avon jewelry instead! All of their pieces are affordable, durable, hypoallergenic and, most of all, fashionable. Even better – they don’t look like they are affordable.
I was an early adopter of wearing chokers and did so daily in the 90s when it was finally “cool”. I wore them until the fad had long passed before I sadly placed them back on their hooks to be worn only when I thought I could get away with the look.
When it came to loving other jewelry, I was a late bloomer. In my adulthood, my daily jewelry consisted of simple stud earrings along with a watch and my wedding ring (when I was married) and I reserved wearing all other jewelry pieces for special occasions. The jewelry tide turned for me about a decade ago and I’ve certainly made up for lost time!
I’ve discovered that I can change the look and feel of an outfit purely by swapping out jewelry pieces I accessorize it with – it’s a much more budget friendly alternative to purchasing new clothing pieces all the time! So I now have a ridiculously large Avon jewelry collection – particularly necklaces, which are my go to accessory weapon of choice, though earrings are a close second. My collection is so large that you’d think I surely must own every idea out there, but Avon is constantly innovating to bring hip and happening pieces (that I must own) to the market.
Thank you for feeding my addiction filling that fashion void!

I like necklaces, thin chains, as opposed to chokers; but I must admit that a great choker can jazz up any outfit so of course, I do indulge myself from time to time. They are great accessories.
My favorite piece of jewelry, however, are hoop earrings, whether large or small, I really like hoop earrings.

We all have our things we’re naturally attracted to!
I love hoops too! Though I recently found out that I have a limit as to how large they can be before I feel uncomfortable!

I have really large thin ones. Not heavy at all. Super thin and cute.

The thickness and weight doesn’t have anything to do with it for me – it’s pure diameter size. I apparently have a comfort zone. LOL
