It’s finally October, so I felt like the Halloween stuff could come out to play! Avon’s Sparkling Spider Necklace and Earrings (sold separately) were just the ticket to kick off the season! These are surprisingly nice Halloween jewelry pieces – not cheap or cheesy! I particularly love the spider necklace – from a distance you may not even realize it’s a spider, it’s THAT pretty!
I love having options! Avon’s Silvertone Convertible Stud to Statement Earrings allows me to choose between blingy and extra blingy!! ::happy dance::
I love me some shiny things and these deliver with a sparkle factor of 10 – they won’t ever be considered a wallflower in the performance category!
These earrings were a decent weight, not super light but also not heavy in the least. If you wear them as statement earrings with the additional hanging down piece, it does thicken the pieces against your ear and shorten the post a bit.
I have fat lobes, so I was a bit concerned about whether I’d struggle keeping them on, but I had no need to worry. What was a problem for me was how thick the whole assembly was and that the hanging down statement piece was static. I spent an unusually large amount of time on the phone at work on Thursday and, when trying to rest the phone in the crook of my neck to take notes or type, I found it very uncomfortable due to the earring not having any flexibility and my shoulder pushing against it which put pressure on the thicker part at my lobe. These issues won’t stop me from wearing them in the future at all, but I probably will just wear the stud portion solo during the workday and add the statement piece after hours to avoid any discomfort the next time around.
Avon’s Silvertone Short-to-Long Pendant Necklace is another piece with loads of options! You can pull the two ends of the chain on the back of your neck to adjust the length of the necklace – love it! Another supercharged sparkly piece!! ❤ ❤
I seriously dig having the ability to choose what length to wear a necklace and I hope they incorporate this design with many more future necklaces! Had the pendant been a bit larger, I’d have opted to leave it long, but because it looked so tiny against my bosom, I ultimately opted to bring the focus up.
From the back, the chain “tails” look kinda sexy – I can see wearing a low backed dress with my hair up and turning this into a choker so the chain tails would trail down my back…oh, the possibilities!!
And that closes out this week’s selfies! Which pieces were your favorite and how would you have styled them?

Heather, you look stunning in all the pieces. I’m really digging your Saturday posts, where you model your Avon products. You’re so pretty!
