Hopelessly Heather

Does anybody else put their makeup on while nude or is it just me? Let me explain…

For the past couple of decades I’ve preferred putting my makeup on while unclothed.  I struggle to recall exactly when or how it began, though it’s clear that while part of me is  simply efficient and tends to be a bit OCD, the other part of me is a wannabe nudist.  I prefer the clothing optional route for makeup application for one primary reason: I hate getting makeup on clothing, particularly on a piece I had intended to be wearing that day.

Oh, sure…I know lots of ladies wrap towels around themselves or put robes on to apply their face, but that still requires putting some sort of cloth on their body upon which makeup may also spill.  No thanks.  When I accidentally smudge or dust makeup where it doesn’t belong, it’s easily removed.  No stain.  No fuss.  Quick and easy.  Wham, bam…and all that jazz.

I enjoy freewheeling when I can: while sleeping, when doing my hair and makeup, and I’ve even been known to lounge around the house in nothing on hot days…with the blinds drawn, of course.  I’m not an exhibitionist, but I’m also not shy or modest.  While I love fashion and all the usual practical reasons for wearing clothes, I have never found an article of clothing as comfy as my own bare skin.

So, who among you are brave enough to admit that you’re a closet nudist?  Anyone?  Bueller?
