Wednesday’s Highlight:

Avon’s True Color Quick Dry Top Coat provides high shine protection and dries your manicure in a hurry – just apply it over any nail enamel to dry it in only 30 seconds! If that alone isn’t enough, it also prevents fading and chipping and won’t smudge – all for a paltry $4.99 per bottle (regularly $8)!

Thursday’s Highlight:

Interested in attaining that perfectly smooth, matte face? Then this product is right up your alley! Avon’s MagiX Face Perfector is a colorless primer for your face that kicks shine to the curb and blurs any imperfections in its wake for 7 hours! Mix or match to buy one, get one half price (regularly $12), and make sure to add this to your bag of tricks!

Friday’s Highlight:

Smell like cookies…or a variety of other great scents! Avon’s Senses Body Lotions are terrific! They make great gifts (everyone loves the scents), make your skin super soft for extended periods of time and doesn’t have that greasy feel to it a lot of other lotions have. Available in Fresh Cucumber & Melon, Energizing Green Tea & Verbena, Juicy Pomegranate & Mango, Silky Vanilla (my fave!), Creamy Fruity Yogurt or Blushing Cherry Blossom, everyone’s preferences are covered! Get yourself a bottle for only $3.99 each (regularly $8)!

In case you didn’t already know, there is a proper way to apply hand lotion – and I learned it 20 years ago at an Avon meeting. Check out the following video to learn how:

  1. Cookie body wash!?!?!?! That’s crazy! I’ve never heard of that before.

Was that you in the video? You have good presence and a nice voice.

It’s actually Silky Vanilla, but it smells like cookies – it’s delicious!

Yup – thank you! I recorded that about 3 years ago.

You look beautiful in th video, Heather. I’m loving the Bob cut on you. Chic!

So the MagiX, I’m gonna need that this Summer. I get so shiny and oily in the Summertime that my makeup melts right off of my face.

    I loooove stretchy bracelets.

Thanks! I wore my hair that way for several years…LOTS of upkeep.

It’s the shiz, I’m telling you!! I can send you a sample to test out. I wear it year round. Have you tested out any of the lippies I sent yet?

I like the look of bracelets, but don’t wear them. I find them annoying to type in.

No, I haven’t tested out the lippes yet. I haven’t had a night out on the town since you sent them.

You can wear lipstick in the daylight, you know…

LOL….I know. I don’t like wearing lipstick to Court. Too glam…I like a more sedate look with my business suits.

You could always go with a more sedate shade of lipstick that wouldn’t look so glam.

      2. Rakkelle says:

I don’t wear lipstick on a daily basis, only when going out at nights. Generally, for work I just do lip gloss and for general every day errands, lip balm.

          Just a preference?

          1. Rakkelle says:

You see how full and sexy my lips are. I really don’t need the extra attention with color on them when I’m being professional.

I get it. It’s why I won’t wear certain pieces of clothing or jewelry to the office. They aren’t inappropriate in any way, just not conservative.
