#JobSearch2019 is still going strong with another interview on Tuesday – and I brought the bling with Avon’s Instant Glamour Layered Necklace and Earring Set!
I am seriously loving the pieces in the Instant Glamour collection! They are flashy without being trashy and contain so much sparkle they radiate your face – BOOM!
Side note: I used earring lifters to make these hang properly. The backs of the studs are convex, causing them to droop or lean forward. The earring backs are my newest secret weapons!
And another interview was in the bag for #JobSearch2019 on Thursday – though this time I cracked open Avon’s Silvertone Pioneer Necklace and Earring Gift Set…several months after it was originally released. This is one of the pitfalls of having a jewelry problem. Wah, wah.
Yup, I suck. I’ve had this set sitting on my shelf for months and only just now got around to wearing it. It’s not currently for sale, but may make an appearance on clearance at some point, so I’m still putting this out there.
It’s completely embarrassing how many pieces of unopened jewelry I have on my shelf to still demo. Unfortunately, I don’t have time every day to set up photos, so I opt out of wearing “new” pieces on those days and save them for a future day…and then I get new pieces and I’m all like “ooh, shiny” and ignore anything in “older” packaging. It’s a problem. I wonder if there’s a help group…
I love the small mixed media knots – they are an interesting modern twist (pardon the pun) on a traditional design. The only thing that had me pulling my hair out was the knots on the necklace chain kept flipping over and showing their unfancy undersides. Be forewarned!
I headed out to a follow up interview on Friday for #JobSearch2019 wearing Avon’s super luxe Felita Statement Earrings!
While not heavy, these earrings are weighty – you definitely feel them swinging on your lobes. I originally put on a “matching” necklace but, ultimately, decided the earrings are far too powerful on their own and opted for a more toned down necklace…and darn near skipped a necklace altogether!

I’m such a jewelry whore! I really shouldn’t buy any new pieces before I’ve worn all the ones I’ve already purchased, but I can’t stop myself…especially at rep demo prices!

You and me both sister, I have so much Avon jewelry, I can’t possibly wear all of it in six months. I’m addicted, and apparently so are you, lol. I need to take pictures because I have some very beautiful vintage Avon jewelry.

I received a verbal offer on Friday that I should receive formally in writing on Tuesday. We’ll see – I may very well be ending my search this coming week. *fingers crissed

Wow! Alllll these pieces are glamorous. Hmmmm, which one would I choose???Ahhh, maybe I’d go with the Felita Statement earrings if I could only choose one of these pieces. Usually, I stay away from “long drop” earrings (that’s what we called dangling, narrow earrings in Jamaica) because I don’t need anything to emphasize my already long face but their emerald green bling is to die for. 😀

The green and silver would definitely pop against your skin! And I don’t think wearing drop earrings would elongate your face at all – assuming they were the right size and length.
