  1. Timeless cologne, I remember one of my elementary school teachers swimming in that fragrance. I’m thinking she liked it a lot, lol. There was a scene AVON carried a long time ago called Occur, it came in a black bottle. Wow what a flashback, lol.

Occur has been discontinued for a long time, but it came out in the early 60s. It was pretty popular too. Every year for the past few years, Avon has sent out a survey to reps asking which classic scent to bring back for the holidays – maybe one of these years it’ll be Occur! 🙂

Have you tried the Magix tint? My first thought with things like this is how quickly it’s going to slide off my oily face. I’d love lighter coverage in the summer, but heat + humidity + my skin = DISASTER.

Yes- I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks. Surprisingly, it doesn’t slide off my oily face at all. It IS very lightly tinted, so it you’re looking for a medium-heavy coverage tint, this isn’t it. I do still put the Magix Face Perfector (the primer) on first (that stuff is GOLD!) because the one time I didn’t, I found the tint alone didn’t have enough of the face perfector in the formula to handle my large pores. Other than those two minor gripes, I’ve been pretty happy with it overall. It does have a slight shimmer to it giving my face a radiance that borders on a bronzer and, while there are only 6 shades in the line, I’ve gotten lucky to pick the one that darn near matches my skin. If we had samples, I’d send you some, but they haven’t released any samples of this line…yet.

Shimmer like… luminesence or actual glitter?

          Luminescence. NO glitter.

Oh thank god. It makes me so mad when they hide glitter in things.

LOL I think we may have touched on this subject in the past. I feel like I’m definitely too old for glitter – not that I will shy away from it if an outfit or costume calls for it though!

Right! I’m even ok with it on my eyes. I just don’t want it hidden in my skincare. Or sunscreen, which is I think when we talked about it last time.
