Hopelessly Heather

I wore Avon’s Sterling Silver CZ Cluster Necklace and Earrings yesterday to work—respectable, traditional, dainty.  Done!

The necklace and earrings are sold separately and the necklace is, unfortunately, sold out–both are blingy and beautiful, but also very dainty.  If you are looking for larger, bulkier pieces, these will not fit that bill.  However, if you are looking for nice, tasteful pieces that are appropriately sized for a younger girl, look no further!  While I would have preferred at least the necklace to be a little more substantial, I can’t complain about the quality or beauty–Avon’s sterling silver pieces are always top notch!

I’m going for dark and mysterious in Avon’s Modern Purple Necklace and Earrings!

The purple shade of these pieces (sold separately) is so dark, they appear nearly black unless there is light directed at them.  That doesn’t mean that they aren’t positively stunning though–they are very pretty!  Neither qualify for being sparkly–the settings are more of an antiqued/burnished silver look, so they are not shiny…but the settings are lovely and the purple (when you can see it) is gorgeous!  The size of the pendant stone and the earring stones are the same.  I opted to turn the earrings on the diagonal to be shaped more like a diamond than a square, but they can certainly be turned to match the necklace exactly and be worn as squares.  Options, people–we have options!

Prep for my vendor open house tomorrow is in full swing, but I’m still representing in Avon’s Rose Quartz Power Stone Layered Necklace!

Until I put this puppy on, I had no idea that it would wear like a layered choker–talk about a game changer!! I originally opened up the box and saw how tiny the pendant was and tried to figure out what I’d wear it with so it wouldn’t be overpowered. Little did I know I needn’t have worried! Now I need to go order the two others I’d skipped purchasing! ::squeal::

Because this wears higher on the neck than many other layered necklaces, its placement is all the visual punch needed. Both charm pendants move freely on their chains and the rose quartz is REAL! I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do–gotta love life’s little surprises!
