I’ve got hope. Pink hope…in Avon’s Ribbon Charm Toggle Necklace! Toggle necklaces are super hip, and this one does double duty by showing support for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Avon is a national sponsor and 15% of Pink Hope purchases are donated, up to $700,000 this year. While this is a faux toggle necklace, my OCD appreciates its symmetry–thanks to a couple well placed tack welds. I really love the attention to detail this necklace has–an infinity symbol that’s part of the chain next to the toggle, then the charms themselves: an iconic pink ribbon symbol, a beautiful pink CZ, and a light pink iridescent bead. I’m a fan of the chain’s length–it makes the toggle and charms hang right below my clavicle, which is prime décolletage real estate to feature pendants. It’s relatively lightweight and tends to hang straight, so this is an all-around superstar!
Monday I delivered a ton of orders on my bonus day off in Avon’s “I Am” Inspirational Necklace and one pair of studs (out of 21!!!) from the Everyday Glam Stud Earring Mega Pack! The necklace is in Avon’s Pink Hope line. A percentage of purchases of products from that line are donated to American Cancer Society to help fight breast cancer. That alone always makes me happy to support the line, but lately they’ve been knocking it out of the park with their gorgeous jewelry pieces–and this one didn’t disappoint either! Empowerment is popular nowadays, so this fits right in with that trend too. Genuine, inspirational, kind, beautiful, worthy, unique, and confident–all words we all are (or should be) described as at some point in our lives–even better if they are all at once! This would make a terrific gift for the women in your life–showering them with love, compliments, and affirmation all in one go. The earrings have a retro feel to them, and are super sparkly–a terrific pair with the necklace because of the starburst on the charm. Also, can we talk about this mega pack of earrings?! What a great set!!! I don’t think there is a single pair I won’t wear–most all of them are classic, and they mixed goldtone and silvertone pairs to suit all tastes. It would be an amazing “starter kit” for a young girl just getting her ears pierced for the first time. Even the largest pairs are still dainty enough for young uns to wear!
Vacation is FINALLY here!! Kicking our NYC adventure off in Avon’s Sparkling Grey Pendant Necklace and Drop Earrings!
The photo of the necklace more accurately represents the color of these pieces–I think the earrings were reflecting colors from the sky outside my window. They are definitely grey and on the deeper side of the grey spectrum to boot. While I like this set just fine, there’s nothing particularly special about it–I find it to be a pretty classic Avon set. It doesn’t look high end, but it won’t turn your neck green either. ::shrug::
