It’s Favorites Friday!!
I am cheap ::cough:: okay, budget conscious. I just don’t see any point in paying more for a product that has cooler packaging, better name brand recognition or because it’s a current trend. I use coupons. I stock up on stuff when it’s on sale. And I seek out less expensive and comparable alternatives whenever possible.
Add to this picture that I am a middle-aged lady with skin that is starting to act like it. Thus came about my love affair with Avon’s Skin So Soft Firm & Restore Neck & Chest Treatment Cream SPF 15. I bought some of the higher priced neck and chest creams on the market and bought into the whole “you get what you pay for” business, but decided to give the SSS cream a go after one of my customers ordered it and I am so glad I did! The SSS cream goes on smooth and has built-in sunscreen! To sweeten the pot, it has a lovely light and fresh scent that smells divine and still allows me to layer other fragrances without it hogging all the airspace.
Does it work? Well, I can tell you that after a couple of years of using it, I’m still not fighting saggy, wrinkly or crepey skin on my neck or decolletage – which is a huge win in my book. And did I mention it’s extremely affordable?! Well, it is.
