Woohoo – another warmer red has been added to the Avon line! Unfortunately, this shade isn’t maintained well with the gloss blotting trick – it turned a god awful hot pink on me, so I reapplied the full color and let it be…but it looked great!
Wednesday I started another temp assignment in Avon’s Sterling Silver Everyday CZ Circle Necklace!
I totally failed at showing off the beauty of this piece by choosing the lace adorned top as a background – unfortunately, once I realized my mistake, I had zero time to change, so this is what you get…I apologize. This delicate piece needs a solid colored simple top or plain skin as a backdrop to properly showcase it. It’s simple and elegant, but also features a line of CZ stones on the bottom curve of the circle that really adds the perfect amount of glitz to the mix!
Thursday’s look featured Avon’s Sacred Coin Short-to-Long Tree of Life Necklace, Onyx Earrings and Mattitude Liquid Lipstick in Ambitious!
I truly hope Avon continues to put out these short-to-long necklaces – they are seriously the best!! I love that these necklaces give the wearer all the power to choose the right length for them – even if that perfect length changes with every single wearing! Not only can they go from choker to long necklace in three seconds, the tree design and the little “knob” details around the outside of the circle are really handsome!
The earrings are traditional sleek cushion shaped earrings – they aren’t meant to be worn for attention and, unless you take a close up photo of them, are fairly basic.
This shade of lipstick makes me look dead if I leave it alone in its matte state, but it’s a truly beautiful nude when a layer of gloss is added and the whole shebang is blotted back some!
