Breaking in the week with the little hoops from Avon’s Mega Hoop and Stud Earring Pack!
These hoops are the smallest in the set, but they are certainly not what I’d consider small. These represent a hoop size that falls within my comfort zone…near the upper end. They tick the box in the shine department to–they are thick enough to be noticed, but not so thick that they drag the lobes down. Thumbs up!
The necklace was originally offered as an A Box exclusive, so I was thrilled to find it (and successfully snag it) on clearance! It was the perfect size to hang in the keyhole of my dress and I really think it got so much attention because it was so well framed (though, admittedly, it could have stood a bit more chain to hang 1/4″-1/2″ lower…but that’s not a real complaint because I could have swapped out the chain for a longer one and opted not to.
The hoops, while only the medium sized hoops in the packs, were already in my uncomfy ear bracelet zone…you can safely bet that I will not be wearing the large hoops in the set. Oof.
This layered necklace was another dainty one, but the layers weren’t as clearly defined by their varied lengths as they ought to have been…as a result, they tangled a lot throughout the day and generally just looked messy. No bueno!
The adorable tiny button-style studs had a really cool modern/retro feel–half open to show nekkid ear and the other half a sleek black, all outlined in gold. They can be worn with just about any type of outfit, earning them a space in my main earring case.
Those are all of the past week’s selfies! What was your favorite and how would you have worn it?!
