Love is in the air…especially in Avon’s Dazzling Heart Earrings! Want a set of heart earrings fit for a grown up? Search no further! These puppies are classy and a really great shade of red. The outer layer of clear stones provide brilliance, and make the red hearts really pop. I did have to bust out my magic earring backers so they wouldn’t flop forward, but they do always solve the problem, so it’s more of a minor inconvenience than a real issue. Overall, a beautiful set fit for a queen!
Envious much? They all will be when they lay their peepers on Avon’s Sterling Silver Green Amethyst Pendant Necklace and Stud Earrings! While the green amethyst is very pretty, it’s such a light shade of green, you can barely see it up close, and can’t see it at all from a distance. The necklace is a really interesting design that reminded me of an upside-down cartoon eye. Unfortunately, because the pendant is very lightweight, it hung off-kilter all day…and, at one point, had completely flipped over and stuck that way. The earrings are the same light green hue when you put them next to the pendant but, once they are on their own, they are so much smaller in scope that the green completely washes out. I so wanted to love these pieces but, at the end of the day, I was really disappointed in them. ::frown::
Champagne, anyone? Never run out again, with Avon’s Sparkling Champagne Necklace and Earring Set! Now we’re cooking with gas! I received a ton of compliments on this set, and they were all well-deserved! In my opinion, the champagne stones were a little too yellow, but not so much that it ruined the set for me. The pendant is substantial in size and weight, and came with a rounded back, which I’m not usually a fan of, but seemed to pose zero issues, so I’m going to let that one go this time around. The earrings are a medium weight, but good sized, so I had to bust out my magic earring backers for them to sit pretty–which they did all day long. The set overall is right in line with a lot of the other pieces I’ve been wearing lately: solid, classic design fit for royalty. These will certainly make their way out of their storage compartments!
