As many of you know, I’ve been experiencing burnout, and desperately needed to hit the reset button. This post has been sitting in my “Drafts” folder for nearly six months–I simply couldn’t muster up the desire or energy to review all the individual pieces…I even took several months off from wearing new pieces and taking selfies. As a result, all but one of the pieces featured in this post are no longer available. Moving forward, as a rule, I’m not going to write reviews of the pieces I wear and feature. I’m hoping to rekindle the love of sharing my looks again, while relieving some of the self-imposed pressure. That said, I hope you enjoy photos from the last half of my Parisian vacation!

I loved all those looks, you are stunning in all of them! I loved all the jewelry too, too bad it’s now available anymore. I hope you enjoyed your vacation in spite of the dreaded burnout.

Thank you! I did enjoy the vacation…I’d never taken a two week vacay before, and now I don’t think I can ever take only a single week again! LOL

I like the first (flower) earrings the best.
Versailles looks like a great place for some strolling.

Versailles is one of my regrets–I wish we’d traveled there ourselves, rather than with a tour. We didn’t have much time to see the gardens at all. If/when we go back to Paris, we will definitely dedicate an entire day to explore just the gardens at Versailles. The little bit we saw was INCREDIBLE.

Good tip! The guide always has some knowledge that you might otherwise not be aware of, however, I don’t like how restrictive that can be to tour with them.

Exactly. I loved the info the guide provided during the tour of the palace, but it woukl have been been ideal if the guide led other tours through and allowed us to explore the grounds at our leisure and catch a ride back later.

Vive le France. What did you think of the Mona Lisa. I was underwhelmed – I didn’t expect it to be small.
I enjoy your fashion posts. Self-care was absent when my eating disorder was in full swing. I did the bare minimum. Now that I’m trying to change that, I like posts that show makeup and fashion choices (though they were mostly bare-faced and yoga pants this weekend).
I also find YouTube to be good for this. I follow lots of “how to dress, how to wear makeup, live your best life with selfcare” channels.
Here’s hoping that passion circles back around sooner rather than later.

I had heard how small the Mona Lisa was so much, that I was totally prepared. It was exactly what I expected. I’m glad I crossed it off my bucket list.
Aww, thank you! I am trying to rekindle that passion little by little. God knows I’ve got quite a large stockpile of new jewelry pieces and makeup to wear and show off!
