Hopelessly Heather

The ramblings and obsessions of a longtime Avon lady

I was preparing some future blog posts and a thought occurred to me that I might be a bit odd when it comes to how many body cleansers I keep stocked in my shower. Let’s discuss…

Those who know me know I have a serious necklace habit with a tremendous lack of impulse control when it comes to chokers. There is rarely a choker I’ve met that I didn’t then covet or own. My love of chokers began when I was a preteen. I was drawn to the Victorian era ladies who wore chokers and I thought they were beautiful and elegant. I figured I could achieve a bit of their elegance by crafting my own choker with ribbon. Thus, my love affair with chokers was born.

First things first, I never paint my fingernails.  I am rough on my hands and my  fingernails are just plain woeful.  There is absolutely no need to draw any kind of attention to my jacked up fingernails.

On the flip side, I love having painted toenails; however, my feet are pretty disgusting.  I power walk and run, so my feet are constantly sporting blisters in various states of healing and the calluses should be named.  To deal with my feet, I have found several things that can make them appear party ready…at least until the party is over!

Last week, LOTS of people were curious to find out what products were in my makeup bag, so this week I’m letting you all take a peek into what skin care products I use!  This time around, I didn’t swap out anything, I just wiped down my actual products so they didn’t have smudges or fingerprints on them.  Ready to find out if I only use Avon skin care products?  Put on your seat belt – here we go!

Are you curious about what’s in the Avon’s lady’s makeup bag?  Want to know which non-Avon items are in there?  And which Avon items ARE in there?  Do I put my money where my mouth is or is my sales pitch all talk?  Here is a photo of my current makeup bag contents except I swapped out my nearly empty lipstick tube for a new one and my makeup applicator sponge for a fresh one:
