An errand filled Tuesday morning led into an afternoon spent with my mom at the casino – I brought luck in Avon’s Pop of Pink Layered Necklace and Earring Set!
Pretty in pink! (Who sang the song?!) This is a lovely lightweight set to usher in warmer and sunnier days!
I made several Avon deliveries Wednesday afternoon and dressed the part in Avon’s Mark Blue Belle Printed Dress (sold out) and Pop of Pink Ombre Earrings!
The dress is adorable, but needs a little something to be able to cinch in the ruffled waist which, on its own, is cut way too straight and boxy. It doesn’t appear that way in the photo because my hands are on my waist to give the dress the appearance of structure. I LOVE the piping on the front, as well as the long sleeves (a great surprise because I anticipated hating them) and the tassels. The overall color and pattern are much more attractive than I thought they’d be too!
The earrings are beautiful! I couldn’t manage to get a picture to properly show off the ombré color, but I tried! Due to the earrings being a bit larger than I thought, I opted to skip a necklace altogether.
I ushered in the weekend on Friday with sparkly pretties (Avon’s Easy Elegance Teardrop Earrings)!
New pretties and an older choker – I call that a good day!

What would be an ombré form you werent into? Maybe I’m missing something?

I’ve seen several girls try the ombre thing with their hair and, to me, it usually doesn’t work. It’s rare that I’ve liked ombre hair – usually only on people (AKA models) I don’t know in photos online. I also am not a fan of ombre pants/leggings. I do love maxi skirts/dresses, shirts/tunics and, of course, jewelry pieces. 🙂

Agreed! I didn’t think about leggings,lol! I’ve had a pair or two (keyword “had”) and they just don’t work. I usually like an ombré hair look, but ombré leggings are off limits,lol!
