Still fighting a cold, but really feeling Avon’s Sage Green Autumn Shimmer Necklace and Earring Set!

The close up of the earring is a better representation of the sage shade this set is–the necklace was reflecting back the yellow hue from the overhead light. I wore the necklace chain as long as it comes without adding in an extender chain–normally I’d choose to wear this type of necklace higher up on my neckline, but I wasn’t interested in continually fishing it out from under the collar of my dress all day. Surprisingly, I didn’t have issues with the pendant hanging askew–every time I checked on it, it was hanging where it was meant to. I like how these aren’t “perfect” shapes, so they seem more natural–it’s not easy to see that in the photos, but you definitely notice in person. All in all, an unusually-colored pretty set!

I think I’m FINALLY starting to get over this cold—time to celebrate the small wins in Avon’s Sparkling Leaf Necklace and Earring Set!

Look at this set–it’s spark-tacular!! It looks like a million bucks (but costs a pittance) and it sparkles brilliantly! For once, I love this precreated layered necklace for its layers! If this necklace only had a single strand, it wouldn’t look even half as impressive–I cannot stop staring at the close up pic of it! While the stud earrings are perfectly matched size-wise, they don’t really draw much attention, but I’m okay with that.

Those are all of the past week’s selfies! I know it’s a sparse week, but I spent most of it with a bright red nose and feeling positively abysmal. I’ll make up for it!
