In early August, I wrote a blog post discussing my daughter‘s kitty, Bellatrix (AKA: Belly), and her fight with cancer. I ran a fundraiser to assist with steep costs associated with the treatments she was going through and would be facing. Monday marked only five more days of work and then vacation!! I broke out Avon’s Grey Autumn Romance Pendant Necklace that I snagged on clearance to kick off the week—it was a rainy and very autumn-y day! Check out my review of its pink counterpart.
Surprisingly, I like this grey one better than the pink one I’d bought (and won)–though I’m having a hard time quantifying exactly why, unless it’s just because I’m comparing it on its own as opposed to being within the larger Fall for Paris collection which, in all of my years of Avon, has been my most favorite one yet! The original collection featured so many high quality pieces that this one didn’t seem to hold its own . Instead of being an A student, it was a D student. But now, I’d bump it up to a solid B. The pendant has some heft to it without being considered a weapon, the chain doesn’t seem cheap or flimsy, and the colors in the drop pendant are unique–all great points!
