Holiday open houses are popular with both vendors and customers alike.  Customers love being able to physically experience vendor products, interact with the vendor and snatch up deals.  Vendors love customers coming to them for interaction and selling some of their extra inventory.  For an even more successful event, invite a few other vendors, provide some snacks, give away some door prizes and promote the event relentlessly.

Every year on Halloween our house receives between 200-300 trick-or-treaters. Last year I tried something new and I’m doing it again this year – handing out bombitas! If you are unfamiliar with what a bombita is, it’s simply a goody bag.

Avon’s vast product lines are overwhelming – especially when they are constantly changing every 2 weeks! Aside from testing out products on my own over the years, I started doing daily “Sale Highlight” posts. This have benefited me in two great ways:

Recruiting is a generally a distasteful word. Most everyone seems to associate it with negativity. But, whether you’re actively recruiting or not, it’s totally natural that others will want a little piece of what you’ve got when you’re excited about what you sell.
