I kicked around town on Saturday in Avon’s Iconic Lipstick in Merry Mauve (a sweet and soft baby pink shade) along with Beautiful Blue Tassel Statement Earrings that I picked up on clearance (unfortunately, they are no longer available)!
This lipstick shade is more baby pink than mauve on me, but it’s still lovely as a lighter and more neutral color. As per my previous reviews, the box and lipstick case both get heart flutters from me.
The earrings are beauts! I honestly don’t know why I passed them up when they were released, but I’m really glad I was able to snatch up a pair on clearance! They are lightweight, but pack a serious fashion punch. The royal blue tassel demands respect and I was delighted that the chandelier portion of the earring is one static piece, so it all moves together in one smooth swing.

I have a handful of favorite go-to Avon scents and one of them is Little Red Dress Eau de Parfum. It is the perfect blend of sweet (raspberry) and earthy (sandalwood) with a hint of floral (rose) just to keep it interesting. I love its sophistication – it’s perfect for wearing to work or out on the town. Continue reading
