On Tuesday it was back to our regularly scheduled program: selfies! I wore Avon’s very dainty Sterling Silver Onyx Teardrop Necklace and Sterling Silver Onyx Teardrop Earrings. These pieces are much smaller than I thought they’d be – not a bad thing at all, just not what I’d anticipated! They are delicate and pretty lightweight, so the necklace pendant flipped over a lot. Besides that minor annoyance, these are classic, elegant and very gift-able!
For every list of fashion/beauty don’ts, there is at least one cutting edge fashionista who will then take that list and turn it into her own fashion/beauty TO DO list. These are the ladies (and gents) that refuse to toe the line and become the trendsetters. Even when they fail they win. Why? Because we’re watching. We’re interested to see what they will do next. They don’t fear presenting a public look that fails. They are unaffected, brave trailblazers.
A few weeks ago, I entered one of Avon’s contests for reps. We needed to post a photo of ourselves showing off Avon fashion products as a comment to their post and hashtag it appropriately. I did it, then promptly forgot about it. Fast forward to approximately 10 days ago and Avon announced that I was one of ten winners, out of hundreds of entries, y’all!! A little over a week ago and I received my prize: the entire Fall for Paris jewelry collection valued at $400! Could they have handpicked a better prize pour moi?!

Saturday was date night with the hubs which calls for dressing up and Avon’s Clara Dress with their Modern Geo Linear Earrings from their Fall For Paris collection were the answer! I’m totally loving the mod vibe!
