The ramblings and obsessions of a longtime Avon lady

Let’s party!! In early December, the hubs and I attended my law firm’s holiday party, which boasted some casino tables, catered food, a bar, raffles, and a photo booth. I paired Avon’s Holiday Rare Pearl Earrings (no longer available) with some KILLER shoes!!

Are you thinking about joining a direct sales company, but you are nervous, unsure or not ready?  Perhaps you are already on a direct sales team and have someone who is nervous, unsure or not ready?  There are a couple of ways nervous Nellies can test the waters without putting forth money or too much effort.  This post will be specific to joining Avon, but if you are interested in another direct sales company, you can revise the ideas below as needed:

For every list of fashion/beauty don’ts, there is at least one cutting edge fashionista who will then take that list and turn it into her own fashion/beauty TO DO list. These are the ladies (and gents) that refuse to toe the line and become the trendsetters. Even when they fail they win. Why? Because we’re watching. We’re interested to see what they will do next. They don’t fear presenting a public look that fails. They are unaffected, brave trailblazers.

Building a team is something I’m relatively new at. For the longest time, I focused ALL of my attention on building up my Avon customer base and becoming the best Avon lady I could be. That suited me just fine for a long time but the more your customer base grows, the more likely it will be that one or more of them will want to join your team.
