Last week, I let you pick my pedicure! I’ve previously let my readers choose my polishes and the results can be found here, here, and here. Once all the votes from this round were tallied, both Option B and Option C were TIED for the winner, so MY VOTE broke the tie and the winner was Option B, which consisted of Avon’s Gel Finish 7-in-1 Nail Enamel in Envy (this shade has been discontinued) and Avon DDazzlers Top Coat in Show Stopper Copper (line has been discontinued):
New week, new campaign, new jewelry!! Tuesday I showed off Avon’s Layered Stone Accent Necklace and Pave Inlay Hoop Earrings!
This layered necklace is pretty, but the two uppermost chain layers are so lightweight that they don’t stay in their lane. I had to fuss with them quite a bit and take several photos to get a decent close up because every time I moved, the top two layers did too, making the entire thing look askew and/or tangled. The earrings are beautiful, though I found that because the two hoops are side to side, they create a wider “base” against my ear that the back pushes up against, making the hoops stationary and, quite often, stick out at a weird angle from my ears. I’ll continue to mess around with them to see if I can correct that issue because, if I can, they’d likely be worn a ton!
Monday night I attended an Avon meeting and was really feeling Avon’s Mattitude Liquid Lipstick in Persistent! What’s your shade? Take the quiz to find out! Woohoo – another warmer red has been added to the Avon line! Unfortunately, this shade isn’t maintained well with the gloss blotting trick – it turned a god awful …
Saturday was date night with the hubs and had me showing off Avon’s Purple Chic Pendant Choker and the CZ hoops from their Tokens of Summer Hoop Trio Set in Pink!
