Last Saturday was date night with the hubs to celebrate my acceptance of a job offer, officially bringing #JobSearch2019 to a conclusion! I celebrated by wearing Avon’s Nikki Dress and Instant Glamour Statement Earrings!
The dress is a gorgeous shade of blue and I can’t say enough about the asymmetrical neckline – slipping a tiny bit of sexy clavicle in is always a winner in my book! I got this in a small, but the dress was a bit big on me and the ruching on the side sagged and bagged a bit – and, because I’m super stumpy (5′ 1″), the ruching also didn’t really hit me in the right spots, starting out a bit too low and ending WAY too low on my side which ended up accentuating my mama tummy rather than hide it more effectively. Thus, no side view. Nobody wants to see that.
The earrings are such glorious pieces that wearing a necklace with them wouldn’t have allowed them to hog the spotlight like they deserve to. I used the earring back lifters again to keep them “erect” which worked like a charm and the only “negative” thing I could say about these is that they are a bit noisy, but more in a plastic beads beating against each other way rather than a metallic clang…so, if you’re into ASMR, these really might be up your alley!
Holiday open houses are popular with both vendors and customers alike. Customers love being able to physically experience vendor products, interact with the vendor and snatch up deals. Vendors love customers coming to them for interaction and selling some of their extra inventory. For an even more successful event, invite a few other vendors, provide some snacks, give away some door prizes and promote the event relentlessly. Continue reading
