Being a shorty, I tend to stay away from maxi dresses – they are usually cut for someone taller and they make me look even shorter, but Avon’s #Mark Goddess Maxi #Dress called out to me. I failed to purchase it as a demo due to my default biases against maxi dresses, but couldn’t pass it up on clearance – and here we are! A beautiful weekend day warm enough to wear it!
Tuesday was picture day at my temp gig (crazy, right?!), so I dressed up and added Avon’s Summer Sands Earrings for a bit of sparkle!
These are perfect to wear with summer sundresses! They are fun and have a tropical flavor to them. They do tinkle a bit when moving about your day, but not as much as you’d expect. They are also a bit smaller than I anticipated, which actually delighted me!
I didn’t expect to like them as much as I do! I thought they’d make a lot more noise and that they’d be bigger, which would make them harder to style…not all outfits can support large jewelry pieces.
Last Saturday, I took care of kitten duty, then headed to Portland Saturday Market with the hubs wearing Avon’s Dusted in Glamour Silvertone Statement Necklace and the stud earrings in their Pretty Pave Silvertone Hoop and Stud Set!
Sunday I hit the casino with my mom and son hoping for some luck in the tree charm from Avon’s Daily Charm Necklace Set – the luck didn’t come, but it was still a fun day!
