It was grey outside, but I displayed the vibrant blue of tropical oceans in Avon’s Sterling Silver Aqua CZ Necklace and Earrings!
The vibrancy of the blue is amazing in these pieces! The CZs are larger than usual for Avon’s sterling silver line, but I’m not mad about it–they are still very tasteful and “ladylike.” I ended up loving the necklace more than the earrings for two reasons: (1) I preferred the emerald cut of the necklace’s CZ over the square cut of the earrings, and (2) because the aqua is so dramatic, I preferred having that kind of color front and center, rather than on my lobes. If you love opening up a jewelry box and audibly saying “wow,” then you need to own this collection!

I skipped over Monday and charged right into the work week on Tuesday in Avon’s Classic Elegance 3 Piece Set! Big shout out to Avon’s CHI Essentials Hair Color in Medium Brown for the gray coverage–easy, beautiful, and DOESN’T stink!!
Elegance is right! The photos of this set (minus the bracelet, since I’m not a bracelet fan) do not do it justice. It shimmers, sparkles, and glitters with every micro-movement. With simpler pieces like these, they can be worn with just about anything from tees and jeans to wedding gowns. The sky’s the limit!
I finally caved and colored my grey temples. It was simple to follow the instructions and the kit included absolutely everything you need including gloves, a shower cap, and after care mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and serum. While that is impressive, what I was most amazed by was that the color/developer did not stink!!! In addition, the drips and staining along my hairline were EASY to wipe off with baby oil–I didn’t have to scrub the crap out of it! Out of the 12 shades offered, I opted for medium brown, but I will likely choose a lighter shade next time. While it looks perfect in sunlight, it’s a bit too dark for my taste using indoor lighting. However, before I decide that, I’ll see how it wears over time. Overall, I am positively in love with this kit!
Last Saturday, I celebrated my birthday by having homemade tacos with the fam in Avon’s Sparkling Pink Statement Necklace and Earring Set!
Every girl deserves a princess birthday–and with the help of this set, I felt like a was dripping in in jewelry fit for a princess! The necklace, in particular, was a showstopper! With the varying lengths of hanging glass stones, it makes just about every neckline luxurious. Plus, white, pink, and gold together is a classic combo. While the earrings failed to wow me as much as the necklace, they played a very important supportive role by not stealing the limelight and holding their own in the presence of a supernova. Now, where’s my crown?
I stumbled through Monday in Avon’s Modern Pink Loop Earrings!
These earrings may be feather light, but they pack a big accessory punch! The wire loop is unusually long, which I originally wasn’t keen on–but then I put them on. I might just be a sucker for pink and black together, but I feel like these make a huge statement without having to take up the space “true” statement pieces traditionally occupy. For those of us who are on the smaller side, these are a godsend! Fun, interesting, beautiful–you can have all three!
